Toilet Problems We Fix
Running Toilet
That constant hissing or trickling sound means water is leaking from tank to bowl continuously. It's annoying and wasteful—a running toilet can waste 200+ gallons per day. Usually it's a worn flapper, faulty fill valve, or float problem. Quick fix in most cases.
Weak or Incomplete Flush
Have to flush twice to clear the bowl? The problem might be clogged rim jets, low tank water level, a failing flapper, or a partial blockage in the trap. We diagnose the cause and fix it properly.
Keeps Clogging
Everyone gets an occasional clog. But if your toilet clogs frequently, something's wrong—maybe a partial obstruction in the drain line, buildup in the trap, or a toilet that's simply not powerful enough for your needs.
Leaking at the Base
Water pooling around the bottom of the toilet means the wax ring seal has failed. This allows water and sewer gas to escape. It's a straightforward fix—remove the toilet, replace the wax ring, reinstall.
Wobbly Toilet
A toilet that rocks when you sit is more than uncomfortable. It can break the wax seal and cause leaks. Usually just needs the bolts tightened or shims installed, but sometimes the flange needs repair.
"Toilet wouldn't stop running no matter what we did—jiggling the handle, adjusting the float, nothing worked. They replaced the guts inside and now it's completely silent. Should have just called them first."
Toilet Replacement
Sometimes fixing an old toilet isn't worth it. If yours is cracked, constantly problematic, or wasting water with an outdated design, a new toilet might be the smarter investment.
Modern toilets use significantly less water per flush while actually flushing better than older models. We can help you choose the right toilet and handle the complete installation.
When to Call a Pro: Plunger won't clear it, multiple toilets backing up, water around the base, toilet rocks or moves, or you've tried DIY fixes that didn't work.
